It costs £750 a week to run our churches and most of the money comes from the congregation, we get no help from the government.

We manage to pay this amount…JUST but we have a crisis at the moment and we need to spend £14,500 pounds on the heating system at St John the Baptist. Together with other building problems we need to sort out, our architect thinks we will need around £100,000! But the heating system is URGENT, without help, it is going to be a very cold Christmas.

We are asking for donations, however small or large, to helps us at this time. We know not many of you come to see us regularly but many of you use the churches for weddings, baptisms, funerals and especially around Christmas time. Without broader community support, a time will arise when there is no local church for Baptism, Wedding or Funeral so please think carefully if you can support us at this time.
